About Will

Hunlen Falls

Will Gadd is one seriously driven individual. No stranger to risking his life, he has climbed some of the most technical offerings that Mother Nature is able to serve up. Having successfully mastered sports like mountain biking, kayaking, spelunking and skiing (alpine and Nordic) this adventurer remains committed to pushing his chosen sport of ice climbing ahead each time he straps on his Red Bull Helmet. Currently residing in Canmore Alberta, Will has solidified his position as a professional mountain climbing, paragliding and ice climbing athlete on a global scale. From 1998 to 2000, he took home the most important titles in ice climbing, including the Winter X Games (1998 and 1999) and the ice climbing world cup (2000).

Never one to back down from a challenge, Will Gadd is on a life mission to prevail in the face of calculated risks. By controlling all the necessary variables, Will has been able to navigate his way through some of the most dangerous situations he may wind up in. A specialist for first ascents of the toughest ice walls, this three-time Canadian climbing champion shows no signs of slowing down and continues to establish new trails on mixed routes (ice and rock).
