About Sean
Unlike many young action sports athletes of today, Sean Pettit didn’t burst onto the scene; he’s been there. At the tender age of 11, he began skiing at a professional level. Two years later, the then thirteen year old made a decision that skiing was a definite career. Quietly honing his skills at Whistler-Blackcomb for years, Sean became recognized years ago by companies like K2 and Oakley, while he was still in his formative years. But who are we kidding? Only months into his teens, Sean still is in his formative years. Should he be treated as an adult just because he’s received a Powder award, brought home a 4th place finish in the X-Games (Wallride), and landed footage in a Tanner Hall film (Show and Prove) already in his brief career as a pro? Whether he’s a young adult or still a kid, Sean is so far ahead of the game its frightening. We’re not just talking about freeskiing here; we’re talking about life.
