About Kaya Turski
What Kaya Turski may lack in years of skiing experience she most certainly makes up for with determination and passion for the pushing the sport. Often quick to overcome any and all injuries, Kaya has cemented herself as the “it” girl within the ski scene.
In 2009, Kaya secured the top spot on the podium for many of the top women’s Slopestyle competitions including and not limited to the Breckenridge and Mt. Snow stops of the Dew Tour, as well as the Orage European Cup. If that wasn’t enough, she ended off her season being ranked as the number one female in the Women’s Slopestyle division by the AFP.
Inspired by athletes such as Sarah Burke and Tanner Hall, Kaya’s philosophy is simple – “you can do anything if you put your mind to it and work hard enough.” Humble and true to her core values, her passion for women’s skiing extends beyond the realm of personal gratification by pushing the sport to the limit. Continuously perfecting her trade, Kaya plans to remain on top by pushing herself to the extreme in whatever she does while still living life to the fullest and enjoying her down time with her family and friends.
