EC Red Bull Salzburg emerged victorious in game seven of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga finals against EC-KAC in Klagenfurt, winning 3-2 in overtime to secure their fourth Austrian championship. Captain Thomas Koch was almost lost for words when talking about the victory: "Justice prevailed. We won the trophy as a team today, it's just indescribable."
