Red Bull Soapbox is an international race with its own unique set of rules. Fifty teams of up to four people spent months sketching and building their entirely human-powered (no external energy sources allowed!) soapbox joyrides and today put the pedal to the homemade medal along the 520 metre long Vancouver course. But speed was not the only criteria for victory! Teams had to shift their imaginations into overdrive because creativity and showmanship were just as important to the judges as the nuts and bolts!
