From the shortest track in Saint Paul, Red Bull Crashed Ice goes straight into the longest ride of the season for the second stop of the 2012 World Championship in Valkenburg, in the Netherlands.
Preparations are in full swing ahead of the second competition which takes place in the southern Dutch town between February 2-4. Following the huge success of the Red Bull Crashed Ice competition here in 2011, Valkenburg is getting set to host another huge sporting spectacle.
Starting on top of the famous Cauberg, skaters will race down what promises to be one of the quickest tracks. Obstacles, including (of course) Dutch Mountains, Bridge Drops, Step Up Bumps and Stairs will test the international elite and the Dutch athletes who advanced from a series of national qualifiers to the maximum.
Vertical Drop: 60m
Height of Start Ramp: 18m
Tightest Corner: 180°
