WHAT TIME DO GATES OPEN?
Gates open at 4:00 p.m. and the first race begins at 7:00 p.m.
HOW MUCH DO TICKETS COST?
The event is free and open to the public. The 93X Crash Zone is not free to the public, but it is open. Tickets are $15 at the entrance.
WHAT IS THE ‘CRASH ZONE’?
The 93X Crash Zone gives the public access to a premier viewing area for Red Bull Crashed Ice. Inside the 93X Crash Zone there will be food and beverage concessions, a DJ with the Red Bull MXT, and a jumbotron with a live feed of the whole Red Bull Crashed Ice course, so that you won’t miss a single minute of the action.
HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO THE ‘CRASH ZONE’?
Tickets to the ‘Crash Zone’ are $15 and can be purchased at the gates.
CAN I BRING CHAIRS OR UMBRELLAS?
Outside chairs and umbrellas cannot be brought into Red Bull Crashed Ice.
CAN I BRING FOOD OR BEVERAGE?
Food and beverage cannot be brought into Red Bull Crashed Ice; however, there will be concessions in the 93X Crash Zone, in the Selby Lot next to the Cathedral of Saint Paul, and at the Finish Corral at the bottom of the course.
WILL THERE BE PARKING?
There is no available public parking at Red Bull Crashed Ice. There is parking available at one of the many shuttle locations. There are shuttle buses running through various parts of the city which will stop at 12th and John Ireland Blvd., at Martin Luther King and Cedar Ave., at Sherburne and Park St., at John Ireland Blvd. in front of the Department of Transportation building, and at John Ireland Blvd. and Marshall.
WILL THERE BE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?
Yes, the city buses will be running, with detours for portions of routes 21 and 65. They’ll be going eastbound on Selby Ave. to Western Ave., Left on Western, Right on Concordia, and Right on Kellogg. On the westbound route, they’ll be taking John Ireland to Marshall Ave., Right on Marshall, Left on Western, Right on Selby. There are shuttle buses running through various parts of the city which will stop at 12th and John Ireland Blvd., at Martin Luther King and Cedar Ave., at Sherburne and Park St., at John Ireland Blvd in front of the Department of Transportation building, and at John Ireland Blvd. and Marshall.
WHERE ARE THE MAIN ENTRANCES TO RED BULL CRASHED ICE?
The main entrances to Red Bull Crashed Ice are located at Marshall at John Ireland Boulevard and at Selby and Summit.
WHEN DOES RED BULL CRASHED ICE END?
Red Bull Crashed Ice ends Friday night at 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday night at 9:00 p.m.
WHAT CAN YOU SEE FROM THE VIEWING AREAS?
None of the viewing areas capture the entire track. From the starting point, you can see everything up until the bridge. In the 93X Crash Zone, you can see the starting point. In the middle of the track, you can see the middle portions of the track. Near the bottom of the track, you can see from the middle portion and down. There will also be three large screens projecting the races from all angles.
CAN I WATCH RED BULL CRASHED ICE FROM ANYWHERE ELSE?
Several businesses in downtown Saint Paul will be showing Red Bull Crashed Ice live, including: Billy's On Grand, Wild Tymes, Great Waters, Jimmy's, Bulldog, Shamrock's, Tiffany's, O'gara's, Zorbaz - On Gull, and Alary's.
WHAT ROADS WILL BE AFFECTED?
John Ireland Boulevard between Kellogg and Nina will be closed. Portions of Summit will be closed as well.
WHERE CAN I GET TRAFFIC UPDATES?
You can get traffic updates from @redbullMSP and @MayorColeman as well as the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
As Red Bull Crashed Ice is an outdoor competition, please dress appropriately for the winter weather.
WILL THERE BE FOOD?
Food and concessions will be sold and may be purchased in the 93X Crash Zone, in the Selby Lot next to the Cathedral of Saint Paul, and at the Finish Corral at the bottom of the course.
CAN I TAKE VIDEO AND/OR PHOTOS?
Still photography is allowed but video or any kid of filming is not.
