K-Os and Dragonette Red Bull Canada

The concept of the 'Soundclash' originated in Jamaica in the early 1950s. As Reggae and Dancehall parties around the country would emerge, local DJs would battle each other, spinning the very best in original Dub, Ska and Reggae, to win over the crowd to who gather to dance. Systems like Tom the Great Sebastian and Duke Reid's the Trojan, made the concept famous when the clash got violent, showing how dedicated some DJs were to proving their musical preference. Since then, Soundclashes have become more friendly and transferred over into other genres of music where artists can collaborate and experience their fans in a whole new way.

On July 10, K-Os and Dragonette prove to do just that, in a unique Soundclash, where both artists will collaborate in the first musical concert of it’s kind in Canada.
