The cream of action sports were joined in New York City by a host of celebrities and 3,000 extreme sports fans at the premiere of The Art Of Flight – a landmark new snowboard movie history...

Travis Rice, John Jackson, Pat Moore, Mark Landvik, Nicolas Müller, Mark McMorris, Eero Niemela, Scotty Lago, Jake Blauvelt, Jeremy Jones, DCP, celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, Mike Diamond from the Beastie Boys and Owen Wilson, as well as the world’s best surfers, plus thousands of enthusiastic fans were among the lucky ones chosen to attend the New York City world premiere of The Art Of Flight at the city's iconic Beacon Theatre,

"It's a crazy experience, it's kind of a little bit nerve-wracking," said director Curt Morgan as he walked the red carpet with Travis Rice and co-stars and crew. "It's been like a two-year build-up to see what people think of the film. It's pretty intense."

"This is pretty much a breakthrough for action sports in general," said pro surfer Ian Walsh of the film which mixes equal parts stunning action footage and harrowing adventure.

"This film really is the culmination of hundreds of people's hard work and it couldn't have happened without the effort and dedication of Brain Farm, all the writers and Red Bull Media House," said superstar snowboarder Travis Rice before the screening. "This thing really wouldn't have happened without them. It's really an honour to be here tonight."

The cast and crew now hit the road for a screening tour spanning over 20 legendary performance spaces across the U.S. and Canada followed by Australia, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and 15 European cities to share The Art Of Flight with a global audience.
