After 2 weeks of local qualifiers bring out the best of the best in Canadian DJ talents from the corners of Ontario, the line-up of competitors Red Bull Thre3style Regional finals in Toronto, on May 4 at the Virgin Mobile Mod Club are all set.
Every qualifier stop in Ontario was a huge scucess, with the competition being steep and the crowds set to rock. After having crowned DJ Makem in Toronto, DJ Yoo in Kingston and DJ Shub in Ottawa, three more spots were up for grabs during this past weekend.
London marked the first stop of three on April 12. Club Mansion in London, saw last year´s competitor Bnutz take home a well deserved victory and solidfiying his pklace in the regional final.
On April 13, Guelph had Red Bull Thre3style premiering at the Palace. An ecstatic crowd witnessed a very tight battle between the DJs. In the end it was last year´s London competitor Rouge edging out his competition by a small margin and getting a spot at the regionals in Toronto.
Finally, in April 14, Hamilton´s Rokbar saw its very first Red Bull Thre3style Qualifier. In front of a sold out venue ,the 7 DJs made the best statement why Hamilton´s stop was a stop to not be missed. Veteran DMC champ DJ Jooce took home the reigns in what was the tightest battle of all qualifiers and will represent the 905 in Toronto, on May 4.
