On Thursday July 12, Quebec’s finest skateboarders were invited to spend the day in Montreal, traveling from spot to spot in 2 couple of stretched limousines, treated as if they were rock stars. Who else but Red Bull could come up with this unique concept, where the skaters would display their skills on the city most notorious street spots, while everything would be captured on camera and edited on the very same day? The skaters, film crews, photographers and host gathered around the Montreal Red Bull headquarter in the morning and it wasn’t long before everyone was seated in the limos, heading to the first street spot of the day, ready to lay down a variety of tricks under the eyes of hundred of curious onlookers.
After a few good sessions and some expected security bust, the convoy, led by the infamous Sugga 2, left for lunchtime at Parc Prefontaine, in search of some shadow to take a few well-deserved minutes off this particularly intense sunny day.
Stomachs were filled, and more skating was to be done while DJ Rilly Guilty got the beat going on the Sugga turntables.
After a productive afternoon, the skaters were invited to one of Montreal finest restaurant, iBurger, while the camera crew got busy editing the whole thing.
Little later, the city skate scene merged to Le Salon Officiel, anxious to see the video result of this crazy event. Drinks were flowing, good time was had by all, and everyone was hyped when the movie was finally released.
JS Lapierre was crowned MVP of the day, with countless tricks landed at every location.
