What is Red Bull Manny Mania?
It’s an amateur contest for male and female athletes at least 16 years of age. The event is all based off the manual skate trick – where Red Bull Manny Mania got its name from - a balancing act that is a must-do in any new skateboarder’s skill set and yet can be made extremely difficult with limitless combinations. The event is a core skateboard contest based around the manual, or wheelie trick. Manuals can be simple on the most basic level, yet like a fine recipe it can become extremely complex and difficult with the more “ingredients” added. The contest has grown into one of the biggest global contests, while maintaining a relaxed vibe as it seeks to award the highest level of technical trickery on two wheels. Based on the simple balancing trick of the manual, Red Bull Manny Mania awards skill and creativity as skaters try to link their best combinations together.

Wheels in Motion Around the Globe
Across 12 nations, 5 continents, and countless manual pads and skate parks, all lines lead to New York City where the Red Bull Manny Mania World Final and Pro contest will return to Coleman Park on August 18-19th.

The technical based trick contest will challenge skaters amateur and pro alike. The amateurs compete against their country mates, with the cream of the crop earning a ticket to New York City. Only one from each country will move on in the Red Bull Manny Mania World Final in August, carrying the hopes of the country they represent on the back of their board. The winner of the World Final will quickly step into the big leagues, earning a spot to compete against the pros the next day. Entering into its 6th year, the invite-only pro event has brought some of the best skaters to New York City, including past winners Brezinski, Ronnie Creager, and Eli Reed as well as other top skaters such as Dennis Busenitz, David Gonzalez, and Eric Koston among many others.
