Dillon Francis appeared on our radar earlier this year when he played a pure Moombahton set at the Boiler Room and the RBMA and Deadly People party at London’s KOKO. He also popped in the Red Bull Studios London to finish some tracks with Trouble and Bass affiliate AC Slater.
The slick haired maestro has made waves through the LA club scene over the last year attracting the attention and rotation of Steve Aoki, Diplo, Will.I.Am, Drop The Lime, Sinden and Rusko. As part of the 108 bpm Moombahton movement, he is the go-to-guy for remixes and has put his touch on singles by Chase and Status, Calvin Harris, CSS, DJ Fresh, Toddla T, Kito and X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd.

This LA native has collaborated with the first man of Moombahton Dave Nada on the Brazzer’s Theme that features as the final track on his Westside EP released in March 2011 with Mad Decent. He also dances with dubstep, combining the filthier elements of Moombahton to make tearing tunes a la Take Me Higher, Beautician and more recently the euphoric three-track Ultra EP with Cory Enemy. Dillon is part of the Mad Decent family working closely with international sounds man and friend Diplo. The duo worked on Que Que with MC Maluca for the Westside EP and Dillon continues to represent as part of the Blow Your Head club nights and compilations. He also has releases with Dim Mak, Top Billin’ and Plant Music.
Dillon Francis will be going back-to-back with Parisian selector Brodinski at Notting Hill Carnival for the Major Lazer and Red Bull Music Academy party.
