Five weeks and ten stops later, Red Bull Thre3Style - the cross-Canada tour in search of the country’s finest party rocker DJ - will come to a resounding finish on March 13 in Toronto at the Sound Academy. The resident winning DJ from each qualifier city will drop their best 15 - minute party set designed to ignite the dance floor, rock the judges, and ultimately defeat returning champ, DJ Cosmo of Halifax. Not only will the 2010 victor take home the title of Canada’s ultimate party DJ, but they will earn a spot in the Red Bull Thre3Style World Final in Paris, France in December 2010. C’est grande!

Red Bull Thre3Style: The Infinite Playlist
The challenge: each DJ needs to deliver 15 minutes of sonic infamy that incorporates a minimum of three genres of music. The constant: rock a pulsating, all-in all-out crowd

The tools: Two Technics 1200 Turntables, one Rane TTM57 mixer, terabytes of tracks and years of sleepless nights djing. That is the pre-requisite for 80 of Canada’s best DJ’s as they sort through millions of songs and potential mixes to prepare for the ultimate live DJ party competition.

The Red Bull Thre3Style national final will also feature special performances by: A-Trak, World DMC champion at the age of 13 and Kanye West’s touring DJ; KLEVER, two-time US DMC champ; and Skratch Bastid, one of Canada’s most accomplished turntablists. The party is hosted by Canadian omni-genre musician Curtis Santiago, and will feature a judging panel consisting of the industry's most reputable critics - music writers, musicians, promoters, bloggers and headlining DJ's - who will evaluate each performer based on creativity, track selection, skills, stage presence, and audience response.
