ADDISON ZAWADA REIGNS SUPREME AT RED BULL MINI DROME VANCOUVER, SOLIDIFYING HIS NORTH AMERICAN DOMINANCE

- 90 of the finest two wheeled technicians rolled into Vancouver’s Rocky Mountaineer Station for the ultimate test of cycling speed, agility and mettle –

The Rocky Mountaineer train station set the stage for the third and final stop of the Red Bull Mini Drome Canadian Tour. 90 competitors came out to test their skills against each other and the custom built Red Bull Mini Drome track. A rowdy crowed witnessed all the cyclists running the gauntlet through a 10 lap-time trial in which the top 32 were then ranked and placed in a head to head bracket to determine the Vancouver Red Bull Mini Drome Champ.

On August 26th, Addison was crowned champion in Orlando, Florida after completing 10 laps in 39.421 seconds, the fastest by far. Following his victory he registered for Red Bull Mini Drome in Montreal where he clocked the fastest time again. He then set his sights on Toronto and claimed victory for the third time in as many attempts. In Vancouver he reigned supreme once again and proved that he is, undeniably, the North American Red Bull Mini Drome Champion with a personal best of 37 seconds flat. “I just want to get home,” Addison admitted through his trademark grin, “seriously though, I’m super happy to have come out here and done so well at all the stops. There were some incredible competitors that I had to beat and also befriended along the way.” Addison paid his own way to all the stops, including a free flight he was awarded for giving up his seat on his flight back to Florida from Montreal.  Pat McManus was the runner up with Adrian Janzen rounding out the top three.
